Contemporary tradsters Skippinish will be playing the Islington Assembly Hall on Wednesday 26 October 2022.   As recent winners of “Live Act of the Year” at Na Trads, they are bound to raise the roof!   Tickets available here.  

This concert will bring together the Gaeltachd of both Ireland and Scotland, with Irish singer Iarla Ó Lionárd joining on stage Scotland’s own Julie Fowlis for a one-off collaboration.   Sounds unmissable!   Tickets available here.

Peat and Diesel have announced new tour dates for 2022. The Leòdhasaich will be back in London with their “Away With Your Wellies” Tour on 25 March at the Islington Assembly Hall. The London Gaelic Society will be hosting Sandy NicDhòmhaill Jones, recently crowned as Bàrd a’ Chomuinn 2019-2020 at the Mòd in Glasgow. Sandy will be singing and reciting her own compositions after the Society’s AGM on 15 February. Details in the flyer here: Gaelic Society Event Feb 2020.    

The Còisir Christmas party will be on the 17th of December at Crown Court Church of Scotland. Come along for some seasonal cheer, music and craic. All alumnae and friends of the choir welcome.

An event to commemorate Scottish soldiers who passed through London during the Great War and enjoyed the hospitality provided by St. Columba’s Church of Scotland. The actors included David Robb, Phyllis Logan, Gordon Kennedy and Derek Riddell. Music was provided by Isla St. Clair and there were two Gaelic singers – Colin West and Michael Hill.

The London Gaelic society hosted an evening of Gaelic song with Ainsley Hamill.
